New Zealand’s Travel, Aviation, Hospitality and Tourism industries have always fought against the perception that the career prospects are limited in those fields. NZSkillsConnect is designed to combat that thinking.

The NZSkillsConnect site shows how a person can have an exciting career in Travel, Aviation, Hospitality and Tourism, and also presents people with the qualifications they need to make these careers a reality. The portal provides listing for job roles within the industry and the qualifications required to work in those job roles.

 The site also features a highly interactive Visual Career Mapper Flash module. It demonstrates the depth of jobs and career path options available and what’s more, directs the user the best educational courses available for each job role. The module is easy for administrators to use as it integrated with Drupal meaning that information can be loaded into the sites Drupal CMS which automatically updates the Flash. The result is an extremely functional tool that has become a popular feature of the site.
