Sparks launch Mike Pero's SafeKiwi website

SafeKiwi is an internet based “escrow” agent that should help prevent unnecessary losses in business or personal financial transactions.

Mike Pero approached Sparks with a challenging schedule to develop and launch safekiwi.co.nz after settling on the Drupal CMS and being an admirer of our work on sorted.org.nz.

The website allows 'Buyers' and 'Sellers' to create online 'transactions' that will hold money in escrow (with Public Trust and ASB) to ensure a safe process and mitigate the risk of either the 'buyer' losing any deposit or a 'seller' not getting paid on completion.

Features include:

  • Fee calculator
  • Member Dashboard for managing transactions
  • Comments between users on individual transactions
  • Unique generated codes to 'invite' users not currently registered to SafeKiwi
  • Premium "SafeKiwi Registered Supplier" account that allows members to promote themselves as a member of the website.
