UPDATE: We are now advertising for an intermediate to senior producer for the Wellington studio. We have a number of long term clients with ongoing support and project work - great opportunity for a natural born communicator who understands what makes websites (and audiences) grow and succeed.
We have a mix of project work and long standing clients with ongoing support and campaign work coming up - this is an opportunity set up nicely for a Producer with the skills and experience to get stuck in and do great things!
This is a role combining account management and client service skills with a requirement to manage project delivery. Day to day this means:
- Talking with clients
- Taking requirements
- Planning project and maintenance work
- Working with design, development and ux people to get results
A detailed understanding of website design and development is essential, we work with Drupal so experience with CMS projects will be an asset.
We have a good team going and a professional, productive environment. This role is supported by senior staff, so you will be working alongside an experienced, effective creative and development team. It is likely you will have been in a digital account management or web project management role before, and have a track record of managing successful delivery. We will be looking for a portfolio sites that show excellence in creative, a rich feature set, or large scale content management.
Within Sparks the producer role combines account and project management, and you’ll manage your own projects through. Things we’re looking for are:
- A thorough understanding of digital, including day-to-day production detail
- A well-organised approach to your own work
- Translating that approach to managing tasks and time for other people
Everyone on the team needs to be a good communicator, love the internet, and understand why client service is crucial – and success in this role will depend on those above all else.
